Fiji Yachting Announces 2026 Oceania Windsurfer Championships
Published Thu 17 Jul 2025
As the event's organizing authority, the Fiji Yachting Association is building on the remarkable success of previous championships held in the country. The regatta has become a celebrated fixture on the Oceania sailing calendar, known for its excellent organization, competitive racing, and the welcoming "Bula" spirit that unites local and international sailors.
"The camaraderie, the racing, and the good times on and off the water made the last edition truly unforgettable", said Fiji Yachting secretary Lisa Philp in their announcement. "Your energy and enthusiasm are what makes this event so special. We’re excited to welcome you all back in 2026."
The championship is a key event for promoting and developing windsurfing in the region and is open to competitors from all OSAF member nations. The competition will include a schedule of Course Racing, Slalom, and a Marathon race, testing the skill and endurance of all participants.
How to Participate
The official Preliminary Notice of Race, issued by FYA, is now available and contains complete details on eligibility, equipment, scheduling, and rules.
