Fiji Yachting Invites Oceania Sailors and Officials to 2025 Nationals and Jurors Course

Published Fri 15 Aug 2025

SAVUSAVU, FIJI – The Oceania Sailing Federation (OSAF) is proud to share that the Fiji Yachting Association will host its 2025 National Championship from October 11-12, 2025, at the beautiful Savusavu Sailing Club.

In a move that will benefit the entire region, the championship will be held alongside a World Sailing Jurors Course from October 10-12, 2025. This course is a fantastic opportunity to develop officiating skills in Oceania, a key goal for OSAF. The course, led by a World Sailing instructor, will blend a day of classroom theory with practical on-water experience during the regatta.

One of OSAF's main goals is to encourage cooperation between sailing nations in Oceania. Fiji Yachting has embraced this by inviting the wider "Oceania Sailing family" to compete in their Nationals and apply for the Jurors Course.

"We're thrilled to see Fiji Yachting take the lead with this event," said Tamatoa Audouin, Vice-President of the Oceania Sailing Federation. "Creating opportunities for our sailors to compete and for our officials to get top-level training is exactly how we build a stronger sailing community across Oceania. We hope our members from around the region will join them by the dozens."

There is no fee for the Jurors Course, but with limited spaces available, early registration is encouraged.
