Notice of 2026 OSAF Annual General Meeting

The Oceania Sailing Federation (OSAF) is pleased to invite all member National Governing Sailing Organizations (NSOs) and stakeholders to our upcoming Annual General Meeting. As the ultimate authority and decision-making body of OSAF, the Congress meets annually to steer the future of sailing across our region.

In accordance with our primary responsibility to promote and develop sailing in Oceania, this session provides a platform for coordination, financial oversight, and the election of leadership.

Meeting Agenda
The following items will be addressed during the ordinary session:
- Welcome and apologies.
- Confirmation of Minutes from the previous AGM.
- Chair's Report: A summary of OSAF activities and achievements.
- Financial Statements: Presentation and adoption of audited accounts and budgets.
- Election of Officers: To fill vacancies and elect office bearers as required by the Constitution.
- General Business.
- Close of Meeting.
Important Information for Members
To ensure the meeting is legally compliant and productive, please note the following requirements:
- Nominations: All nominations for committee positions must be submitted in writing to osaf@sailing.org.au no later than 20 March 2026.
- Voting Eligibility: Only financial members as of 20 March 2026 are eligible to cast a vote. Each member NSO is entitled to one vote at the Congress.
- Representation: Members may be represented by up to two delegates. If you are unable to attend, you may appoint a proxy by emailing the Secretary-General.
- Quorum: A valid meeting requires a quorum of at least half of the OSAF membership.
