Pacific Multihull Championship 2025 Set to Showcase Region's Best Young Talent in Tahiti

The Oceania Sailing Federation is delighted to support the Championnat du Pacifique Multicoques 2025, taking place from 27-31 October 2025 in the stunning Matavai Bay, Tahiti. This premier multihull championship promises to be a spectacular showcase of sailing talent across three exciting classes.
Organised by the École de Voile d'Arue in partnership with the Tahitian Sailing Federation, the championship will feature competition in Hobie Dragoon (maximum age 14 years), Hobie 16, and Nacra 15 classes, bringing together sailors from across the Pacific region for five days of world-class racing.
The regatta format includes up to 15 races over four days, with both Olympic and Stadium course configurations set in the picturesque waters of Matavai Bay. The championship i an excellent opportunity for emerging talents to compete at the highest level, particularly in the youth-focused Hobie Dragoon category.

The organising authority has arranged comprehensive support including boat charter services from Australia and New Caledonia, making participation accessible for sailors throughout the region. Entry fees include championship apparel, opening and closing ceremonies, and daily refreshments.
Benjamin Prioux from École de Voile d'Arue emphasises the championship's commitment to environmental responsibility and inclusive participation, reflecting World Sailing's fundamental principles and the Pacific region's strong tradition of sustainable sailing practices.
OSAF encourages all Member National Authorities to promote this championship within their sailing communities and support their sailors' participation in this prestigious Pacific competition.
